Obiya Fidelis is from Onunwakpu Izzi local government area of Ebonyi
state. He was born into a family of Awola Obiya in 1992 and he attended
Liberation Secondary School where he graduated from in 2013. He started
singing in his local assembly (Assemblies of God Church Nwakpu) choir
since 2008 and he is currently a backup singer.
